Ok, now that that's out the way, this week we take a very close look at copyrighting within the fashion industry and how fashion brands use (or sometimes don’t use) copyrights to protect their brands. Copyrighting is defined and we take a real world look at a landmark copyright case in the fashion industry, Yves Saint Laurent v. Ralph Lauren (1994).
